Officer Machine Operator

About the role

The Officer Machine Operator works within the Solid VS team at Haleon’s Jamshoro site, reporting to the Production Line Lead. The role supports the value stream by operating and maintaining assigned production lines, work centres and manufacturing zones covering dispensing, manufacturing and packaging. You will ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations while meeting shift‑based production targets and upholding quality, GMP, EHS and operational‑excellence standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run assigned lines or work centres daily in line with SOPs, GMP and EHS requirements.
• Perform autonomous maintenance, first‑touch troubleshooting, CILT activities and basic technical maintenance on equipment and ancillaries.
• Complete batch documentation, logbooks and GMP records in real time, adhering to data‑integrity and ALCOA principles.
• Conduct in‑process checks, line clearances, product changeovers and cleaning according to production plans.
• Maintain 5S, hygiene and cleanliness standards; support audit readiness.
• Report and escalate quality or safety deviations, incidents and near‑misses.
• Assist root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in Tier‑1 line‑level performance meetings, track hourly boards and help achieve OEE and other KPI targets.
• Identify opportunities to reduce defects, breakdowns and waste.

Required profile

• DAE, Bachelor’s degree, Pharm‑D, B.E. Engineering or equivalent technical education in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged; 1–2 years of relevant experience is a plus.
