About the role
Co-Ventech is looking for an on-site Upwork Business Developer (Bidder) to join its Karachi office. You will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and winning high‑value projects on Upwork that match the company’s AI‑powered software services.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and qualify relevant opportunities on Upwork through market and client research.
- Prepare tailored proposals, cover letters, and accurate project scopes, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Manage the end‑to‑end bidding process, track performance metrics, and maintain the company’s Upwork profile.
- Follow up with potential clients via messages and calls to convert leads into long‑term relationships.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover of closed leads.
Required profile
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills for interacting with international clients.
- Proven experience in lead generation, market research, and evaluating project feasibility.
- Experience with online freelancing platforms, preferably Upwork, including profile management and proposal writing.
- Ability to work with technical teams to translate client briefs into clear scopes and estimates.
- Excellent written English for persuasive proposals and client communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with software development, QA automation, AI/ML, or DevOps services is a plus.
- Self‑motivated, target‑oriented, able to work on‑site in Karachi and handle multiple bids simultaneously.
