Onboarding & Training Specialist

About the role

The Onboarding & Training Specialist will design, manage and deliver an exceptional new‑hire experience while building technical competency across the organisation. You will own the full onboarding lifecycle, from pre‑boarding to probation completion, and lead the planning and delivery of training programmes that enable every employee to perform at their best.

Key responsibilities

• Design, manage and continuously improve the end‑to‑end onboarding programme for all new hires across departments and levels.
• Lead and facilitate orientation sessions, ensuring a consistent, engaging and culturally aligned first‑day and first‑week experience.
• Coordinate with hiring managers, IT and other stakeholders to guarantee workspace readiness, system access and mentor assignments before each start date.
• Track new‑hire progress through structured check‑ins during the probationary period and proactively address any concerns.
• Deliver hands‑on technical training on in‑house databases, proprietary platforms, the CRM system and contact‑centre solutions such as Genesys.
• Develop role‑specific curricula, user guides, video walkthroughs, quick‑reference cards and e‑learning modules.
• Conduct Training Needs Analyses at individual, team and organisational levels to identify skill gaps and plan targeted interventions.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools and best‑in‑class learning methodologies to create engaging, scalable content.
• Ensure compliance with global training requirements and maintain up‑to‑date onboarding documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering onboarding and technical training programmes.
• Strong project‑management skills with the ability to coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a talent for creating engaging learning experiences.
• Ability to analyse training needs and translate them into effective curricula.
• Familiarity with compliance training and global standards.
