Operations Manager - Fast Food Restaurant

About the role

Oresto Pizza, a growing fast-food business in Gujranwala, Pakistan, is looking for an Operations Manager to coordinate day-to-day restaurant operations, support consistent service and help the business scale while keeping quality and efficiency high. The role is based at the Gujranwala location and requires a hands-on presence in the restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing routines, staffing, customer service and order flow.
• Set and monitor operating standards for food quality, preparation, cleanliness and service speed.
• Plan staff schedules, guide team leads, coach employees and address performance or service issues.
• Manage inventory, purchasing coordination, stock rotation and controls to reduce waste and shortages.
• Track sales, operating costs, customer feedback and key performance indicators, and recommend practical improvements.
• Ensure compliance with food-safety, hygiene, workplace and local operating requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve operational issues and support business growth.
• Prepare regular operations updates and implement procedures that improve consistency across shifts.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing operations in a restaurant, fast-food outlet or comparable customer-facing business.
• Strong people-management skills, including staff scheduling, coaching, delegation and performance follow-up.
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills, with a practical approach to customer complaints and team issues.
• Ability to set priorities and maintain service standards during busy periods.
• Organized, accountable and able to document procedures and track operational results.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of food preparation workflows, food safety, hygiene and quality-control practices.
• Ability to monitor inventory, purchasing, stock rotation, wastage and basic cost controls.
• Comfort using point-of-sale systems, spreadsheets and routine sales or operations reports.
