Operations Specialist - Renewals

About the role

Zones is seeking an Operations Specialist focused on software renewals. The role ensures timely, accurate, and complete processing of renewal opportunities for software, cloud subscriptions, and maintenance contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage renewal opportunities 90 days prior to expiration.
• Maintain rigor and timeliness in all operational processes.
• Analyze data, provide solutions, and give feedback to improve processes.
• Document, implement, and maintain renewal operational procedures.
• Track and follow up on renewal opportunities within defined timelines.

Required profile

• 4‑year degree preferred but not required; equivalent certifications accepted.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make independent decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across Teams, email, and phone.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 (preferred).
• Experience with ServiceNow (preferred).
• Understanding of software license life‑cycle management.
