People Partner – HR Business Partner

About the role

The People Partner works closely with team members and leaders to ensure fair, consistent, and high‑quality performance management outcomes. This role owns appraisal cycles, leads difficult conversations with compassion, and uses data‑driven insights to influence performance, compensation, and overall people effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end annual and bi‑annual performance reviews, including feedback cycles, calibration, and final outcomes.
• Partner with leadership to ensure performance decisions align with competency frameworks and are equitable.
• Drive competency mapping, talent profiling, succession planning, and identify high performers and development gaps.
• Support managers with performance improvement plans, coaching, and documentation.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, leading sensitive conversations and maintaining psychological safety.
• Facilitate conflict resolution, escalation management, and ensure neutrality and confidentiality.
• Assist with compensation benchmarking, internal parity checks, pay‑equity analysis, and salary review cycles.
• Utilise HRIS, Power BI, and Tableau to automate reporting, track performance trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in HR Business Partnering or Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a technology environment.
• Strong command of performance‑management cycles, calibration, and appraisal governance.
• Ability to handle high‑stakes conversations with confidence, empathy, and clarity.
• Analytical mindset comfortable with trends, segmentation, and data‑driven decision narratives.
• Proven stakeholder‑management and influencing skills across leadership and cross‑functional partners.
• High discretion and professionalism when dealing with sensitive cases.
