People Partner – HR Business Partner

About the role

The People Partner works closely with team members and leaders to ensure fair, consistent, and high‑quality performance management outcomes. You will own appraisal cycles, lead difficult conversations with compassion, and use data‑driven insights to influence performance, compensation, and overall people effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Own annual and bi‑annual performance review cycles end‑to‑end, including feedback, calibration and final decisions.
• Partner with leadership to guarantee performance decisions align with competency frameworks and are applied consistently.
• Drive competency mapping, talent profiling and succession planning to build team capability.
• Identify high performers and development gaps using performance data, manager feedback and trend analysis.
• Support managers with performance improvement plans, coaching and documentation.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, ensuring psychological safety and handling sensitive conversations.
• Coach leaders on feedback delivery, conflict resolution and engagement challenges.
• Assist with compensation benchmarking, pay equity analysis and salary review cycles.
• Use HRIS, Power BI and Tableau to automate reporting, track key metrics and provide actionable insights.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in HR Business Partnering or Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a technology environment.
• Proven ability to manage performance appraisal governance and calibration processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting trends and building decision narratives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influence skills across team leads, leadership and cross‑functional partners.
• High discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive employee matters.
