About the role

eShifa, Pakistan’s leading home‑healthcare provider, is seeking a full‑time Phlebotomist to join its Islamabad team. The role involves collecting blood samples safely and accurately in patients’ homes or clinical settings, supporting the company’s mission to deliver high‑quality, convenient health services.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and explain the blood‑collection procedure.
• Prepare and maintain phlebotomy equipment, ensuring compliance with infection‑control standards.
• Perform venipuncture or other approved collection methods and handle specimens according to protocol.
• Label, store, and transport samples to the laboratory for timely processing.
• Complete required documentation and coordinate with laboratory and clinical teams.
• Provide compassionate patient care, addressing anxiety and answering questions.

Required profile

• Relevant certification or diploma in phlebotomy, medical laboratory technology or a related healthcare field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and infection control.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work on‑site in Islamabad, manage schedules and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
