Piping Inspector for OSBL Services

About the role
The company is seeking an experienced Piping Inspector to lead OSBL (Outside Battery Limit) pipeline inspection activities at refinery and petrochemical projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with ASME B31.4 and related codes, coordinating non‑destructive testing, and validating welding and hydrostatic test procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Witness and verify pipe fit‑ups and visual welding examinations.
- Coordinate NDE activities including radiography, ultrasonic, and penetrant testing.
- Witness hydrostatic pressure tests and interpret test results.
- Measure pipe wall thickness using ultrasonic testing equipment and assess corrosion.
- Review and approve welding procedures and welder qualification records.
- Ensure all inspection activities meet applicable construction and inspection codes.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in OSBL pipeline inspection for refinery or petrochemical projects.
- ASME B31.4 certification or equivalent knowledge.
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction, components, and inspection codes.
- Hands‑on experience with welding inspection, hydrotesting, and NDE coordination.
- Proven ability to review welding procedures and qualification records.
