Pizza Chef

About the role

Pizza Palace is a restaurant serving high-quality, freshly prepared pizzas and related dishes, with a focus on fresh ingredients, consistent recipes and efficient kitchen processes. It is looking for a Pizza Chef for a full-time, on-site position in the Karachi division. The chef prepares, cooks and presents pizzas and menu items according to the restaurant's standards and recipes.

Key responsibilities

• Dough preparation, sauce and topping assembly, and oven management
• Ensuring each dish meets quality and portion guidelines
• Maintaining a clean, organised workstation and following hygiene and food safety regulations
• Supporting inventory checks and ingredient rotation
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff to manage orders during busy periods and keep service smooth

Required profile

• Prior experience as a pizza chef, cook or in a similar kitchen role in a restaurant or food service environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple orders and work with a kitchen team
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage but not required

Required skills

• Strong food preparation and cooking skills, following recipes and portion standards
• Knowledge of hygiene and food and beverage standards, including safe handling, storage and cleanliness
• Experience with sauces and pizza ingredients such as dough, cheeses and toppings
• Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and safety, including ovens and mixers
