Pre Sales Manager

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Manager will lead a dedicated pre‑sales team, working closely with sales, product development and other cross‑functional groups to translate client needs into tailored technical solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership to drive successful sales outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor the pre‑sales team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Collaborate with sales and product development to capture client requirements and align them with product offerings.
• Conduct detailed technical assessments, develop and deliver presentations, demos and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Participate in client meetings to present solutions, answer technical questions and influence decision‑making.
• Create technical proposals, define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies and competitor solutions.
• Provide training to sales teams on technical topics and presentation skills.
• Gather client feedback and work with product development to drive product enhancements.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and pre‑sales activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, related engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8‑10 years of experience in pre‑sales or technical sales, including 2‑3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Local residency in Islamabad preferred.
