Principal AI Engineer (AI games)

About the role

UserWise is building a high‑speed, AI‑assisted game production team. We need a Principal AI Engineer to own and evolve the AI infrastructure that powers our entire game development pipeline, from idea generation to live‑ops scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the technical architecture for AI and automation across internal games, establishing shared infrastructure and engineering standards.
• Build AI agents, tools, and automated workflows that accelerate prototyping, testing, launch, and LiveOps.
• Integrate external LLM models and APIs (e.g., Claude, Code, MCP, Cursor) with Unity pipelines and internal tools.
• Create AI‑powered analysis and reporting systems that turn production and user‑acquisition data into actionable insights.
• Develop monitoring, observability, and cost‑efficiency improvements for AI systems as usage grows.

Required profile

• Significant software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems.
• Hands‑on experience building with LLMs, AI APIs, agents, or automation platforms.
• Strong systems engineering fundamentals and ability to design reusable, scalable solutions.
• Comfort working in a fast‑changing environment where tools and models evolve quickly.

Required skills

• LLM development patterns (tool/function calling, agentic workflows, model integration).
• AI APIs and automation platforms.
• Unity and C# (preferred).
• Cloud integration and data pipelines.
