Principal Engineer

About the role

The Principal Engineer will lead safe plant operations, drive maintenance excellence and ensure supply‑chain efficiency. You will work closely with production, maintenance and EHS teams to achieve zero lost‑time incidents while continuously improving performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Production Manager with daily operational activities and technical assistance.
• Plan and execute preventive and routine maintenance, coordinating with Maintenance Engineers.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement projects and process enhancements.
• Ensure completion of non‑conformities, corrective actions and IMS training.
• Maintain compliance with Safety Manual, Emergency Action Plans and promote a zero‑LTI safety culture.
• Monitor raw‑material consumption, manage warehouse coordination and control budgets.
• Track KPIs, use MCRS tools and communicate performance results.
• Conduct troubleshooting and preventive measures based on safety inspections and incident reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in plant operations or production.
• In‑depth knowledge of utilities operations and maintenance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (basic modules) and other digital tools.
• Strong computer systems knowledge.
• Familiarity with industry‑standard equipment and technical processes.
