Procurement Lead – Fleet Services

About the role

The Citizens Foundation is looking for an experienced Procurement Lead to oversee end‑to‑end procurement, contracting and vendor management for its nationwide fleet portfolio. The role sits within the Supply Chain Department and will drive strategic sourcing, cost control and operational readiness for vehicle acquisition, maintenance and large‑scale restoration projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for vehicle acquisition, replacement, maintenance contracts, restoration projects, fuel programs and tracking systems.
• Lead sourcing, bidding, evaluation, negotiation and contract award processes while ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
• Maintain strategic relationships with oil marketing companies, vehicle manufacturers, dealerships, repair workshops and restoration contractors.
• Plan and execute multi‑city fleet restoration projects, monitor budgets, quality inspections and timelines.
• Coordinate with Fleet Operations, Finance, Procurement, Logistics and external vendors to ensure timely contract renewals and payments.
• Develop and maintain reporting on restoration progress, payment tracking, contract renewals and procurement savings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet‑related procurement, contract management and vendor oversight.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to benchmark costs and drive value‑for‑money outcomes.
• Demonstrated project management skills, especially in large‑scale vehicle restoration or refurbishment programmes.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation abilities.
