Procurement, Logistics & Fleet Officer

About the role

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society Merged Areas (PRCS) is hiring one Procurement, Logistics & Fleet Officer based at its headquarters in Peshawar, reporting to the Program Manager. The post covers project procurement, service contracts, leases and rental agreements, logistics and travel arrangements, and fleet management of MAHQ and field vehicles. The project duration is 5.5 months and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Procurement Officer, ensuring sub-contracts, consultant and service contracts and purchase orders comply with PRCS Procurement Policy
• Identify vendors for office leases, utilities, furniture, equipment and program supplies, and execute procurement tasks including RFQs, quotations, comparative statements, purchase orders, GRNs and waybills
• Maintain records of transactions, assets and equipment, and manage asset disposal
• Coordinate and monitor delivery of goods and services against PO terms and specifications
• Plan procurement, transport and storage, oversee fleet maintenance and repair, track fuel consumption and process monthly fuel bills
• Handle inventory, warehousing and packing, and prepare monthly purchase plans and inventory reports
• Carry out field visits to inspect office and project assets

Required profile

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, accountability or humanitarian program support
• Preferred: experience in humanitarian program settings and in report writing and knowledge management
• Willingness to travel extensively to field locations; maximum age limit of 45 years
