Procurement Manager – Engineering Projects

About the role

Huawei Pakistan is seeking a proactive Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for engineering projects within its Procurement Qualification Department. The role ensures timely delivery of materials and services, coordinates with suppliers, and supports successful project execution in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage procurement of materials and services for engineering projects, aligning with project schedules and business requirements.
• Develop and coordinate procurement plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve delivery issues.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross‑functional teams to identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Track procurement progress, prepare status reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, project coordination, or engineering operations.
• Basic understanding of telecom industry operations and engineering projects.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities, with capacity to work under pressure.
• Fluent English.
