Producer Unit Manager - Cotton Agriculture

About the role

BrightSpyre, a non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian organization registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 in Pakistan and working since 2004 on the integrated development of rural marginalized communities in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan, is hiring a Producer Unit Manager in Vehari. The position is offered on a one-year contract basis, with possible extension depending on performance and project needs.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Sciences or a related agricultural field.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience preferred, preferably in cotton production, sustainable agriculture, agricultural extension or farmer support services.
• Practical knowledge of cotton crop management, integrated pest management (IPM), soil fertility, pest and disease control and sustainable cotton farming.
• Experience working directly with cotton farmers, producer units, farmer groups, field teams and government or technical stakeholders.
• Experience in NGO/INGO or donor-funded agriculture, climate resilience, livelihood or environmental projects is an added advantage.
