Product Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Product Design Engineer to own the full design and development cycle of our brand’s consumer products, from concept through to market‑ready solutions. This position is ideal for engineers with 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience who can work independently and deliver innovative, cost‑effective designs.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop new product concepts or enhancements, driving continuous innovation.
• Design functional mechanical products using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate structural integrity, functionality, and durability.
• Improve designs through material selection, DFM/DFA principles, and cost‑optimization.
• Prepare accurate technical drawings and Bills of Materials for prototyping and mass production.
• Lead rapid prototyping and iterative testing using SLA and FDM 3D printing.
• Evaluate prototypes, incorporate feedback, and refine designs to meet international quality standards.
• Execute hands‑on mechanical tasks, including assembly and custom modifications using standard workshop tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (mandatory).
• 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience in product design, prototyping, and R&D.
• Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.

Required skills

• SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
• Engineering calculations and simulation tools.
• DFM/DFA methodology.
• Technical drawing and BOM creation.
• SLA and FDM 3D printing for rapid prototyping.
• Workshop tools for mechanical assembly and modification.
• Material selection and cost‑optimization techniques.
