Production Manager – Towels

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our towel manufacturing operations at Sultex Industries in Karachi. The role involves overseeing the full production cycle, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring delivery of high‑quality products on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production issues in sewing and finishing sections.
• Coordinate with vendors, buyer quality control, and laundries for product improvements.
• Conduct on‑site training for wash approvals and standards.
• Work with development teams to prevent bottlenecks and quality problems.
• Perform final piece‑by‑piece quality checks against buyer requirements.
• Prepare laundry evaluation reports and update SOPs.
• Upgrade technical data sheets and present projects to stakeholders.
• Control audit assessments of washing units and perform risk analysis for new wash effects.
• Plan daily schedules for wet and dry processes, delegate tasks and prioritize workloads.
• Lead pre‑production meetings with merchandising, QA and buyer representatives.
• Monitor material inventory, production flow and team performance to ensure on‑time, quality output.
• Oversee bulk approval, bulk production, coordination and sampling.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in towel manufacturing or related textile production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Textiles or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of textile machinery and lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven leadership, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
