Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor leads and develops an operational team to meet safety, cost, quality, inventory and service goals. This position drives continuous improvement, applies operational principles, and extracts actionable insights to enhance daily performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop staff, ensuring annual goals are set, communicated and achieved.
• Maintain and update the Global Performance Management System with regular feedback.
• Monitor team performance, adjust training, and manage staffing needs.
• Oversee timekeeping, overtime, vacation schedules, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Adjust work schedules and load factors to maximize capacity, labor, tools and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate regional strategy, create operating plans, and act as a change‑agent for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven ability to train, develop and retain high‑potential talent.
• Strong understanding of corporate ethics, values and performance management.
• Experience in general management duties such as appraisals, promotions and terminations.
• Ability to act as a role model, influencing team members toward shared business objectives.
