Professor – Full‑time Academic Position in Lahore

About the role

WOMEN UA is seeking a dedicated Professor to join its Lahore campus on a full‑time basis. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality lectures, seminars, and workshops that empower learners and develop practical, career‑oriented skills aligned with the organization’s mission to support displaced women.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and continuously update course materials and lecture notes.
• Design assessments, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor students and advise on academic and career development.
• Contribute to curriculum development and participate in academic meetings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching standards and learning outcomes.
• Support outreach activities, engage with partner organizations, and contribute to research or community projects.

Required profile

• Advanced academic qualification (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant discipline.
• Proven teaching experience at university or college level.
• Strong pedagogical skills, including course design and student assessment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and academic writing abilities.
• Experience mentoring diverse learners with an empathetic approach.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Lahore and collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Interest in socially impactful education, gender equity, or support for vulnerable populations is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard educational technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
