Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent throughout the construction project lifecycle. The role requires strong teamwork, flexibility, and excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret scope of work, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare submittals, transmittals and manage the RFI process.
• Oversee procurement: request quotations, track deliveries, and build vendor relationships.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality monitoring.
• Support change management and contract term interpretation.
• Coordinate subcontractors through weekly progress meetings.
• Communicate project risks, costs, and changes with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Review pay applications, timesheets, and aid permitting.
• Develop cost estimates for additional work and contract modifications.
• Create internal weekly reports for executive management.
• Lead safety and quality culture initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven.
