Project Manager - Business Transformation & Operational Excellence

About the role

iCareManager is looking for a Project Manager to lead business, IT and AI-driven initiatives that modernize operations, streamline processes and improve organizational performance. The role covers cross-functional transformation projects, policy and process alignment, and the building of foundational systems, with a growth path toward broader operations or transformation leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle projects (initiation to closure) using SDLC, SAFe Agile and Waterfall; plan, schedule, budget and allocate resources
• Track project health with RAID logs, issue tracking, change control boards and stakeholder registers, and manage dependencies, risks and scope changes
• Manage AI-powered tools, products and automations, collaborating with product and tech teams to integrate AI solutions and stay current on AI/ML trends
• Run process improvement projects using the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC framework, define KPIs and baselines, and sustain improvements through SOPs, process maps and RACI charts
• Support organizational structure, governance and operational excellence, including SOPs, process maps, management protocols and performance dashboards
• Engage stakeholders, present project status, risks and KPIs to leadership, and capture lessons learned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• PMP certification (required)
• Minimum 3 years' experience leading business and IT projects across multiple functions (5+ preferred)
• Demonstrable experience with AI tools or products (automation, machine learning, analytics)
• Proven track record of cross-functional initiatives with process owners and stakeholders

Required skills

• SDLC, Agile/SAFe and Waterfall methodologies
• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)
• Preferred: business process re-engineering, change management, and tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Confluence, Power BI and Tableau
