Project Officer – Integrated Border Management (Pakistan)

About the role
The Project Officer will support the EU‑funded project “Support to Integrated Border Management in Pakistan”, working from the ICMPD field office in Islamabad. Reporting to the Project Manager, the officer will contribute to the technical and operational delivery of one of the two project components – either Strategic Integrated Border Management or Professionalisation and Training.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the technical and operational delivery of activities within the assigned project component.
- Coordinate closely with national authorities, project partners, service providers and internal ICMPD colleagues.
- Monitor progress, prepare reports and assist in the preparation of project documentation.
- Support related migration initiatives implemented by the region as required.
Required profile
- Based in Islamabad and able to work on‑site.
- Proficiency in both English and Urdu.
- Ability to work under the supervision of the Project Manager and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Required skills
- Fluent English language skills.
- Fluent Urdu language skills.
