Proposal Engineer – Medium Voltage Switchgear

About the role

Join Siemens Smart Infrastructure as a Proposal Engineer focused on Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear for the Middle East region. You will work with a global, diverse team to develop competitive technical and commercial solutions for projects across the UAE and the wider Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tender preparation for MV Switchgear (GIS and AIS) projects.
• Prepare cost estimates and design technical solutions that meet customer specifications.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure proposals deliver Siemens’ competitive edge.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project management teams throughout the bid cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in proposals, technology, or engineering for switchgear (AIS & GIS) or similar fields.
• Strong knowledge of protection schemes and digital protection relays (Siprotec).
• Fluent English and ability to work in a fast‑changing technical environment.
