Prospector (Purchasing Assistant) – Global Sourcing

About the role

We are seeking an energetic English‑speaking Prospector with at least one year of experience to join our global sourcing team. As a front‑line hunter you will open doors with international partners and qualify high‑potential leads.

Key responsibilities

• Market Prospecting: Identify new suppliers through the internet, trade fairs, magazines and international databases.
• Supplier Assessment: Evaluate potential suppliers on cost, lead time, quality and reliability.
• Compliance: Ensure products meet quality standards and target‑market regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with International Buyers to facilitate orders and meet project deadlines.
• Data Management: Build and maintain qualified supplier files for the global database.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in Sales, Business Development, Procurement or Sourcing.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
• Working hours: 9:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word.
