Public Health Specialist

About the role

No Any Company is a consumer services organization with roots in Mumbai, serving diverse communities and households. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Public Health Specialist in Karachi who will assess community health needs and support evidence-based public health initiatives. The role requires regular on-site engagement with communities and close coordination with cross-functional colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field assessments and surveys of community health needs
• Analyze health and environmental data
• Contribute to the design and implementation of community health programs
• Collaborate with local stakeholders, health providers and internal teams on public health education, risk communication and preventive interventions
• Prepare reports, briefing materials and presentations to inform decision-making and monitor program outcomes

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Environmental Health or a related field
• Strong foundation in Public Health and Community Health, able to apply public health concepts in community settings
• Knowledge of Environmental Health principles, including environmental factors affecting health outcomes
• Demonstrated analytical skills for collecting, interpreting and presenting quantitative and qualitative health data
• Clear, professional communication skills for engaging communities, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in community-based or field public health programs is highly beneficial
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks and adapt to dynamic community needs

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic data analysis tools and standard office software
• Familiarity with public health surveillance systems is a plus
