QA/QC Executive

About the role

The QA/QC Executive will ensure that all stages of the food production process meet National Foods Limited’s quality standards, from raw material receipt to final product packaging. This role supports continuous improvement and compliance with NFL specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assess production stages from raw material intake to finished product packaging to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform chemical tests according to NFL standards and record results in the control logbook.
• Conduct routine quality inspections of production lines, equipment, and product samples, identifying any deviations.
• Investigate process‑related deviations, determine root causes, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of SOPs, work instructions, and quality control protocols.
• Prepare and distribute reports summarising process quality performance, highlighting key metrics and recommending improvements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, increased efficiency, and enhanced product quality.
• Collaborate with procurement and GMS teams to ensure timely creation of purchase orders and material availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 3‑5 years of experience, or a postgraduate degree with 1‑2 years of experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
