Recruitment Specialist – Banking Sector (Karachi)

About the role

We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join our client’s Executive Search practice in Karachi. The role focuses on sourcing and hiring Executive, Senior Executive, and C‑Suite talent for a nationwide banking client across multiple functions such as Retail, Corporate, Risk, Compliance, Operations, IT, and Digital Banking. You will act as an embedded recruitment partner, ensuring alignment with senior leadership and compliance with State Bank of Pakistan regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Talent Acquisition and HR leadership to define recruitment strategies and priorities.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: role briefing, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closure.
• Source senior banking professionals using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and job portals.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for confidential and high‑impact mandates.
• Coordinate with external agencies to broaden candidate reach for specialized roles.
• Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, dashboards, and compliance documentation.
• Identify and recommend improvements in sourcing strategies, turnaround times, and employer branding.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Proven ability to partner with senior hiring managers and business leaders.
• Strong understanding of banking functions and State Bank of Pakistan fit‑and‑proper criteria.
• Excellent communication, discretion, and stakeholder management skills.
