Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead a team of Territory Managers and Field Managers to achieve sales and market share targets for assigned pharmaceutical products. This role combines strategic planning, coaching, and direct customer engagement to drive growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales benchmarks and customer coverage in line with SFA parameters.
• Monitor call planning, execution, and daily call volume of the team.
• Coach team members on quality of PCN and NCO, and provide regular performance feedback.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, hospitals, and purchase authorities.
• Conduct sales promotion meetings, product presentations, and speaker programmes.
• Oversee recruitment, talent retention, and vacancy planning for Territory Managers.
• Maintain accurate sales records, activity reports, and AER reporting to medical.
• Provide sales forecasts and ensure implementation of best‑practice SFA processes.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience as a Territory Manager or Sales Representative in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a scientific field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop sales teams.
• Good understanding of product, customer, and market dynamics.
