About the role
The Regional Sales Manager – Trade will lead and grow the assigned region by driving product availability, visibility and advocacy. You will be responsible for achieving above‑market growth, executing commercial initiatives and managing distributor relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the region.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with distributors and territory managers.
- Lead, coach and train the territory manager team to exceed targets.
- Implement trade‑marketing activities according to the regional plan.
- Drive pharmacist advocacy through trainings, RTDs and engagement programs.
- Monitor market performance, prepare performance reviews and corrective action plans.
- Conduct monthly business reviews with distributors and formalise action plans.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies.
Required profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
- At least five years of sales experience in the pharma or consumer industry, preferably in trade.
- Proven track record of managing distributors and territory teams.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Excellent business communication and negotiation skills.
