Remote HR Intern – 6 Months

About the role

A growing UK-based eCommerce company is looking for an energetic, organized and detail-oriented HR Intern for a fully remote, 6-month internship. The role gives end-to-end exposure to modern HR operations, recruitment pipelines and people operations in an international e-commerce environment. Working hours are 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday, and the company-provided monitoring software must be used during working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment and talent acquisition: post job openings, screen resumes, shortlist candidates and schedule interviews
• Onboarding and offboarding: help new hires get started and keep documentation up to date
• HR operations and administration: support daily HR tasks, maintain employee records, track attendance and help implement policies
• Learn to use internal HR systems, dashboards and productivity tracking software
• Act as a point of contact for team inquiries and help coordinate internal communications

Required profile

• Currently studying or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field, with a strong interest in HR operations and systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organization and attention to detail
• Proactive, self-motivated and quick learner interested in talent management and operational efficiency
• Able to commit full-time to the 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM schedule, Monday to Saturday
• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot or Gemini for drafting job descriptions, screening summaries and internal communications

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools
• Willingness to use AI assistants and automation to streamline HR workflows

Remote setup requirements

• Dedicated personal laptop or desktop capable of running business and communication software
• Fast, stable broadband connection suitable for clear audio calls
• Mandatory power backup (UPS, inverter or generator) during working hours
