Remote Tax Consultant – $55-$75/hr

About the role

We are seeking an experienced US Tax Professional (EA or CPA) to join a global finance leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on providing high‑quality tax expertise to train next‑generation AI systems that process real‑world finance data.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze US federal and state tax statutes, including conditions, thresholds, logic, and legal exceptions.
• Review English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Apply logical reasoning to spot inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of US tax law, covering federal and state statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written communication skills for clear feedback.
