Remote Tax Consultant (EA/CPA) – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant (EA or CPA) to join a leading finance organization on a contract basis. This remote position focuses on providing high‑quality tax expertise to train next‑generation AI systems, ensuring accurate interpretation of U.S. tax statutes.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze U.S. federal and state tax statutes, including conditions, thresholds, and legal exceptions.
• Review English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to guarantee regulatory compliance.
• Identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation using logical reasoning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Professional certification as an Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state tax law, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear, concise written communication skills.
