Research Specialist

About the role

Troxis IT Solutions is seeking a Research Specialist to drive research‑led growth, strategic planning, technology adoption, and process improvement. The role is highly research‑oriented and technology‑driven, focusing on market, industry, competitor, and emerging technology analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market, industry, competitor, customer, technology, and business research.
• Research end‑to‑end new projects, services, and business opportunities and develop actionable recommendations.
• Analyze business processes and ongoing projects to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for AI, automation, digitisation, and workflow optimisation.
• Research and evaluate AI models, automation platforms, SaaS tools, APIs, integrations, and emerging technologies.
• Support cross‑functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Operations, Product, Engineering, and HR.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management, economics, IT, computer science, data analytics, engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in research, strategy, business analysis, growth, consulting, technology or marketing.
• Strong research, analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to research unfamiliar topics independently and convert findings into actionable strategies.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AI models and prompting.
• Proficiency using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity.
• Knowledge of SaaS tools, automation platforms, APIs and integrations.
• Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills.
