Retail Manager – FMCG Sales & Distribution

About the role

Mellori, a new premium spread brand, is building its founding team to launch nationwide. We are seeking a motivated Retail Manager to lead trade and distribution efforts, drive sales growth, and expand market presence across modern and general trade channels in Karachi.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute distribution channel strategies to increase product availability and market penetration.
• Manage relationships with distributors and key retail accounts to secure listings, maximize shelf space, and achieve sales targets.
• Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed objectives.
• Conduct store visits, merchandising, promotions, and inventory management to ensure brand visibility.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to support sales initiatives and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and data analysis for strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in trade and distribution.
• Proven ability to work independently, build business opportunities from the ground up, and navigate modern retail environments.
• Strong knowledge of retail market dynamics in Pakistan.
• Own reliable mode of transportation for field activities.
