Sales Executive (Dispatcher) - Freight & Transport

About the role

This position combines dispatching and sales in freight and transport. You will handle calls, coordinate shipments and deliveries, act as the main contact between clients and logistics operators, and negotiate contracts and rates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing calls for freight and transport.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments and deliveries.
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients and logistics operators.
• Negotiate contracts, rates and transportation terms with clients and partners.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare sales reports, proposals and presentations for potential clients.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
• Assist with resolving customer complaints and concerns promptly.
• Work closely with the sales and logistics teams to optimise service and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Logistics or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar sales or dispatch role.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional client-site travel.
• Ability to work on-site and adapt to flexible hours when needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
