Sales Lead (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Sales Lead to drive growth for our international food‑commodity business. This fully remote position offers competitive remuneration and the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of customers across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the sales department and achieve defined sales targets.
• Identify and acquire new customers through phone, email and market research.
• Maintain and update client databases and pricing models.
• Monitor commodity price trends, crop cycles and currency fluctuations.
• Support supplier approval processes and manage contracts using Ibridge software.
• Assist management in evaluating new products and market opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor junior sales staff as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Self‑starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, marketing or sales discipline.
• Familiarity with BRCGS and Organic standards is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive).
• Experience using Ibridge software for contract management.
• Knowledge of BRCGS and Organic certification standards.
