Security Hardening Manager

About the role

The Security Hardening Manager will develop and enforce security configuration policies across operating systems, networks, POS systems, ATMs and databases. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to align hardening strategies with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain system hardening policies for a wide range of technologies.
• Lead a team of two security specialists to execute hardening initiatives and ensure high‑level protection.
• Manage security configuration tasks in line with CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs and zero‑trust principles.
• Conduct risk analyses and vulnerability assessments, producing detailed reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, SWIFT CSCF, ISO 27001 and banking regulations through continuous monitoring and audits.
• Collaborate with IT, network operations and compliance departments to integrate hardening measures.
• Oversee endpoint security management and drive continuous improvement of security architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Strong leadership, project management and analytical skills.
• Experience leading security teams and managing security projects.

Required skills

• Certifications such as CASP+, CCNP Security, OCP Database Security or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs and zero‑trust architecture.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, SWIFT CSCF, ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
