Security & HSE Supervisor

About the role

This position oversees workplace safety, physical security and emergency preparedness across multiple office locations. It covers security operations, CCTV surveillance, HSE compliance, incident management, emergency response and crisis coordination, in line with organisational policies, applicable legislation and industry best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Security operations: implement and maintain security plans, SOPs and post orders; supervise contracted security guards; manage access control, visitor registration, keys and vehicle entry; run security inspections and risk assessments
• CCTV: ensure adequate camera coverage, recording and data retention, monitor operations, escalate suspicious activity and manage footage retrieval; coordinate vendor maintenance of CCTV, access control and alarm systems
• HSE compliance: keep HSE registers, incident and near-miss logs, risk assessments, training records and inspection reports; carry out safety inspections and hazard assessments
• Fire safety and emergency preparedness: check fire extinguishers, first aid kits, emergency signage and assembly points; maintain evacuation plans, exit routes and floor wardens; plan and run fire safety and evacuation drills
• Incident management: act as escalation point, investigate incidents and near-misses, coordinate with management, clients, authorities and emergency services, support evacuations and maintain emergency plans and contact directories
• Reporting: prepare monthly safety and security reports, keep audit-ready documentation and track corrective actions

Required profile

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in security operations, HSE, facilities security, emergency management or a related field; 10+ years preferred
• Bachelor's degree minimum; preferred in Occupational Health and Safety, Security Management or a related field
• Armed forces or law enforcement background is an added advantage
• Preferred certifications: NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, Fire Warden, ISO 45001 auditor, ASIS PSP or CPP
