Security Specialist – Corporate Security Lead

About the role

The Security Specialist will act as the primary liaison between plant management and the Corporate Security Department, ensuring seamless communication, rapid incident response, and effective day‑to‑day supervision of all security personnel on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise security staff, including supervisors, guards, female patrollers, and CCTV operators.
• Serve as the main interface between plant management and Corporate Security, resolving issues amicably.
• Maintain regular communication with senior management through meetings and updates on security matters.
• Record operational data and submit daily security reports in the prescribed format.
• Lead incident‑response activities and coordinate security training for guards and staff.
• Manage monthly invoicing, vendor HR files, and oversee the 24/7 CCTV system, ensuring UPS backup and proper access permissions.
• Ensure fire‑alarm panels are operational and manned continuously.
• Conduct bi‑monthly weapons inspections and monthly firefighting training for the guard force.
• Monitor guard patrols, report safety non‑compliances, and compile weekly reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in military, security agencies, or security companies.

Required skills

• CCTV system operation and monitoring.
• Security incident response and reporting.
• Vendor and invoice management.
• Fire‑alarm and emergency equipment oversight.
