Semi-Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Semi‑Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Lahore. The role involves managing bookkeeping, tax compliance and financial reporting for US and Canada‑based clients, while collaborating with IT and junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate QuickBooks Online, Xero, Wave and other accounting tools with internal systems.
• Maintain and reconcile charts of accounts across multiple platforms.
• Perform end‑to‑end bookkeeping, including VAT handling and statement reconciliation for bank and credit‑card accounts.
• Utilise workflow tools such as Karbon, Asana and ClickUp to streamline accounting processes.
• Manage project accounting and provide financial insights for decision‑making.
• Prepare management accounts and supervise junior accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• ACCA Affiliate or part‑qualified candidate.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a Canada/US‑focused accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of UK and US tax regulations.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
