Senior Associate - Corporate and Syndication Loans

About the role

The Senior Associate will support the FTC Operations team in managing corporate and syndication loan facilities. You will ensure end‑to‑end compliance with product programs, SOPs and banking standards while delivering error‑free loan processing.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all agreed product programs, process notes, SOPs, OPM, CPM and ADMs.
• Review credit proposals and agreements at disbursement, ensuring no gaps or errors.
• Prepare repayment schedules, calculate facility fees, VAT, interest, penalties and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Execute SWIFT and UAEFT payments correctly and perform related UATs.
• Track post‑disbursement credit terms, report breaches promptly, and coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution.
• Perform daily reconciliations across multiple banking systems and publish status updates.
• Develop controlled mechanisms to guarantee timely, error‑free activities and escalate delays.
• Conduct EDD and compliance screening, and ensure no revenue leakage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4‑7 years of experience in corporate working capital and trade‑finance loan facilities.
• Proven experience handling system UATs, BRD preparation and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of trade documents, trade cycle and credit proposal review.
• Ability to quickly learn new banking platforms and identify gaps.

Required skills

• SWIFT and UAEFT standards.
• Banking platforms: Flex (Oracle), ELCM, EDMS, LLOYDs, FIRCO, SCF/IMX/Kastle, CBS/Flex.
• Accounting standards and APPM for income accruals.
• Complex reconciliation across banking systems.
• UAT execution and defect tracking.
