Senior Associate – Trade Operations (Export)

About the role

The Senior Associate will manage the end‑to‑end export process, ensuring compliance with internal policies, SOPs, ICC guidelines and relevant trade finance regulations. The role covers all trade finance activities for multiple business segments.

Key responsibilities

• Process export transactions in accordance with SOP/OPM, UCP/ISBP/ISP and recover applicable charges.
• Perform sanction checks, handle commodity trade documents, and authorise transactions in the system, including preparation of SWIFT messages.
• Address ad‑hoc tasks from the Team Head and ensure no revenue leakage or outstanding reconciliation entries.
• Escalate errors, customer complaints or service defects promptly to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 2‑4 years of experience in trade operations.
• Expert knowledge of export LC payments, discounting, risk participation and related accounting entries.
• Understanding of amortisation principles and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging and trade finance documentation.
