Senior BIM Engineer (Revit) – Design & Coordination

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior BIM Engineer to lead BIM modelling, design development, documentation and multidisciplinary coordination for building projects within a design‑consultancy environment. The role involves creating and managing accurate Revit models, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and supporting project teams throughout all design and construction phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead BIM/Revit modelling and documentation from concept through detailed design and construction stages.
• Develop and maintain accurate Revit models, including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and construction drawings.
• Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, HVAC, fire‑fighting, electrical and plumbing disciplines.
• Perform BIM coordination, clash detection, model review and conflict resolution.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, Revit templates, families, naming conventions and modelling procedures.
• Ensure model quality through BIM QA/QC, model auditing and document review.
• Support preparation and implementation of BIM Execution Plans and project‑specific BIM requirements.
• Review architectural models and drawings produced by architects/BIM modelers.
• Prepare and review tender, IFC, shop‑drawing and as‑built documentation.
• Mentor junior architects and BIM/Revit staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 7–10 years of professional architectural experience, preferably in a design/consultancy firm.
• 3–5 years of strong hands‑on experience with Autodesk Revit and BIM‑based projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and structural design, detailing and construction documentation.
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Good understanding of BIM standards, LOD/LOI, model management and QA/QC.
