Senior Cloud Engineer – AWS (Remote, Full‑Time)

About the role

Smart Working is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer specialized in AWS to join a global, remote‑first team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure that supports long‑term product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Manage EC2 instances and other core cloud services.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes.
• Implement security and compliance controls aligned with ISO27001 or equivalent standards.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable delivery processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS.
• 3+ years of experience using Terraform or similar IaC tools, including CI/CD integration.
• 2+ years managing EC2 and core infrastructure components.
• 1+ year working with security compliance frameworks such as ISO27001.
