Senior Consultant – Audit Operations Accelerator (Assurance)

About the role

We are looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join the Audit Operations Accelerator (AOA) team in Lahore. The role supports audit partners and engagement teams by managing the administrative side of audit projects and ensuring smooth billing and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Set up audit projects and administer the audit engagement economics process, including initiating and monitoring periodic billings.
• Advise audit partners and managers on all administrative tasks related to audit engagements.
• Configure and track audit tasks in EY’s proprietary audit platform throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Drive engagement controlling activities such as budget planning, analysis, re‑forecasting and project reporting.
• Identify and implement best‑practice and automation opportunities, collaborating with EY Rapid for centralisation of processes.
• Ensure quality of data entry, budgeting, re‑forecasting and timely billing; produce ad‑hoc reports as required.
• Investigate and resolve audit queries and escalations promptly.
• Participate in regional calls, update local practices and highlight implementation challenges.
