Senior Consultant - Tax and Legal

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant – Tax and Legal to join our advisory team. The role involves delivering comprehensive tax solutions and legal guidance to corporate and individual clients across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide top‑class tax services to a portfolio of corporate clients, including tax planning, compliance and advisory.
• Communicate with revenue authorities and clients on tax affairs, representing clients before FBR and provincial tax authorities during assessments and audits.
• Research, draft and present detailed technical tax memorandums to support advisory projects.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation, Finance Acts and regulatory requirements and advise clients on their impact.
• Collaborate with managers, directors and partners to ensure smooth departmental operations and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• CA qualified or part‑qualified, ACCA, ICMA, MBA Finance or a related finance qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in direct or indirect tax, preferably within a tax consultancy firm.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistani tax laws and regulations (Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax Acts, etc.).

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of Pakistani tax legislation.
• Experience preparing tax compliance filings and advisory memorandums.
• Ability to interact with tax authorities and represent client interests.
