Senior Cybersecurity / ICS‑OT Consultant

About the role

The Senior Cybersecurity / ICS‑OT Consultant will work on‑site in Islamabad for a two‑year contract, focusing on protecting industrial control systems and operational technology environments. You will assess risks, design security architectures, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and security architecture reviews for SCADA, EMS, DCS, and Smart Grid environments.
• Design and implement security controls, network segmentation, and incident response and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Perform penetration testing, threat monitoring, and security auditing to improve resilience.
• Develop technical reports, governance documentation, and stakeholder presentations.
• Support compliance with NIST SP 800 series, ISA/IEC 62443, Zero Trust Architecture, and data‑protection frameworks.

Required profile

• BS/BE in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Security or related field from an HEC‑recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3‑4 years focused on ICS/OT security.
• Hands‑on exposure to SCADA, EMS, DCS, Smart Grid or similar industrial environments.
• One or more of the following certifications: GICSP, GIAC GRID, GIAC GCIP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist.
