Senior Ecommerce SEO Specialist – GEO, AEO & AI Search

About the role

DevCrabs is seeking a senior SEO professional to lead and execute ecommerce SEO strategies on‑site in Islamabad. The role focuses on improving visibility for product, category and collection pages through modern techniques such as GEO, AEO, semantic SEO and AI‑driven search.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive SEO strategy for multiple ecommerce sites.
• Increase rankings, organic traffic and conversion‑focused visibility for product and category pages.
• Apply technical, on‑page and AI‑search optimisations, including schema markup and internal linking.
• Develop GEO and AEO approaches to boost presence in large language model and AI search results.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, content and technical SEO audits.
• Implement site architecture, crawlability and topical authority improvements.
• Track rankings, indexing, traffic, conversions and produce actionable performance reports.
• Lead, mentor and review the work of junior SEO team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ecommerce SEO with measurable case studies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead an SEO team or manage execution independently.
• Strong grasp of semantic, entity‑based SEO, structured data and AI search optimisation.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
